Most companies don't suffer from a lack of software. They suffer from too much of it — disconnected tools, duplicated data, and teams spending a third of their week copying information between systems that were never designed to talk to each other.
My conviction is that the highest-leverage engineering work isn't writing more features. It's mapping the process first, eliminating the bottleneck, and only then automating what remains. That sequence is why our clients get compounding returns instead of another dashboard nobody opens.
I've held every role on the delivery chain — developer, team lead, solutions architect, product manager — and I still read the schema before I sign off on a scope. Clients don't get a CEO who relays their requirements to an engineering team. They get someone who can tell them, in the first conversation, what it will actually take to build.

About Ahtisham
Ahtisham Ali is the Founder and CEO of Skyfall Labs, where he leads product vision and technical strategy for a team building custom software, business process automation, and deep Zoho Suite implementations for clients across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
He is a technical founder rather than a purely commercial one. Over close to four years at Zenith Innovations he progressed from Team Lead and Senior Full Stack Developer to Lead Solutions Architect and then Product Manager — writing production code, owning the architecture, and carrying the roadmap in turn. Before that he built backend and full-stack systems at Funprime Technology, Hypersoft, and Next Generation Business Solutions.
That range is the point. He can scope a Zoho implementation against a client's real sales process, design the system that supports it, and stay accountable for the delivery — without a translation layer between the business conversation and the engineering one.
He founded Skyfall Labs in January 2026 to build the kind of engineering practice he'd spent years wishing he could hire: one that treats process design as a first-class discipline rather than an afterthought to code.
